A Sweet Escape

Ponte Vedra, FL. - We've found a new home for the next week, and boy is it relaxing here. My "baby brother" is graduating from The University of North Florida today, and what better way to celebrate than by traveling to see him walk across the stage to receive his degree and then spend the rest of the week at the beach.

Literally as I type I'm watching the strong waves of the Atlantic Ocean rush to the shore while a cool breeze sweeps across my face. I can only image that there is a slice of Heaven this beautiful and relaxing.

The owners of this particular beach house we're residing in must have an affinity for "cottage style" just like we do. I happen to be staying in the "Seashell Room" that has a full wall and a half of built-in shelving, rustic lighting and coastal decor and accents. I'll be sure to take plenty of photos to share.
